THIS IS A YEARLY EVENT THAT IS HELD AT THE ABOVE VENUE

WHERE EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME ALONG AND ENJOY THEM-SELVES.

WE ALSO USE THIS DAY TO PROVIDE A FUN FILLED DAY OUT

FOR MEMBERS OF MENCAP AND SOUTHEND SMASH.

WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HOLD THIS EVENT

IF WE DID NOT HAVE THE HUGH SUPPORT OF MRS MARION PALFREY.

SHE VERY KINDLY ALLOWS US TO USE THE LAKE FOR THE DAY FREE ON CHARGE.

WITH BOTH SUN-SHINE AND TOWARDS THE END SOME RAIN.

BUT THIS DID NOT DETER PEOPLE FROM HAVING FUN

I would like to Thank everyone for coming to this event, most of us who organised the day are disabled ourselves.

The event is not about making money, but just to see the expressions on lots of faces makes it all worth the while.

Special Thanks to Phyliss & Bruce Pitt for their scrummy cake stall, also for Bruce walking the entire lake to sell Raffle Tickets and not forgetting all their hard work in helping us to pack everything up.

Last but not least, our deepest thoughts are with “TED” who origionaly set this event up. No longer with us, missed every day, deep memories within us all, his inspiration, his impact, his memory will carry on through, to have known him, was to have loved him, through this, we all find courage to

mark this event in his “honour”.
