This year, we held our Open Day at Coleman's
Cottage Fishery on Saturday 23rd May 2009.
It was a great day even if we did not see to
much of the general public.
All of those that did attend, enjoyed the days fishing
with some very nice fish being landed.
The Open Day made the Club £847.00 after all
deductions are accounted for.
This was achieved with the help of the members that helped to run the various stalls - Tombola (Anne Holland), Raffle (Barry Sullivan), Auction (Colin
Holand) and Cakes (Phyliss Pitt).
We also received help from Mr Nick Watkins and
Mater Nathan Glover (who both gave their time free
of charge to the club) in the form of fishing tuition.
With this being backed up by Ben, Dan and Graham
from the Enviromental Agency and Mr Geoff Fisher
(the Clubs full time helper).
Finaly of course, we had our host's provide the
cooking (Sarah) and the lake facilities
(Jane and Gerry).
We thank all of you because without your hard work
and efforts we would not be able to put these
funchions on. THANK YOU.
